Our Culture

On May 8th of this year, Keller Williams Upstate NY Properties embarked on a full day of community service with 150,000 other associates worldwide for our annual Red Day! Our chosen community this year was our local Veterans! 30 of us descended on Neahwa Park in Oneonta and revitalized the Veteran’s memorials along Veteran’s Walk. We planted flowers, landscaped, removed old bushes, cleaned the walkways and reset the fountain.

We are committed to this service every year and in the past we have worked with the Susquehana SPCA, an animal rescue in Morris, and volunteered for the Office of the Aging, visiting the elderly and helping with their chores.

On May 11th 2023 the City Heights Team and Keller Williams Upstate NY Properties partnered with Sweet Life Animal Rescue in Morris and the SPCA in Cooperstown. Our company was able to volunteer and help animals in need. We cleaned stables, fed goats and built feeders for the horses and donkeys in Morris while cleaning kennels, walking puppies and learning about adoption at the SPCA.

We are blessed every year and always looking for the opportunities to pay it forward to the communities we serve.

On May 13th 2021 the City Heights Team and Keller Williams Realty Landmark II partnered with Queens Together to meet up at the Queensboro Restaurant in Jackson Heights! We were able to pack and deliver 100 hot meals to local families facing food insecurities as well as collect over $8,000! With that money we were able to purchase a truckload of pallets of fruits and vegetables where we then created grocery bags for nearly 1000 people. Many of our volunteers that day were able to deliver these bags to food pantries all over Queens!
We are very blessed each year and always looking forward to pay it forward to the very communities we serve.

May 14th 2020 was our annual Red Day, when our agents take to the streets and volunteer. Because of the pandemic, we decided to do a fundraiser for the incredible organization Queens Together, that provides meals to the front line workers of the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as, families facing hardships like loss of income and food shortages. We proudly raised over $9,000 for this worthy organization and will continue to support them.

The City Heights Team also volunteered to deliver groceries for a local organization called Brighter Bites, who prepare bags of fresh produce and groceries for families in need. We were able to deliver to 25 families in Jackson Heights on Red Day!

We invite you to join us in our continued service to our Queens communities by visiting the sites for these wonderful organizations and determine how you can help! A small donation of $20 to Queens Together will provide chef-made meals to a family of 4 for 2 days! Here’s their site www.queenstogether.org

Brighter Bites asks for volunteers every Tuesday to help deliver groceries to local families. Their site is here: www.brighterbites.org
